This Privacy Policy describes how EnchantingSEO (the “App”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the services provided to merchants who install the App on their Shopify stores.

Information We Collect

When you install or use the App, we access and process the following data from your Shopify store:

  • Product data
  • Collection data
  • Images
  • Store name

We do not access order data, customer data, metafields, or theme files. We also collect non-personal app usage analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve functionality. The App does not collect merchant user login emails.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Generate SEO titles and descriptions
  • Generate image alt text
  • Provide and improve App features
  • Train or improve AI models used within the App
  • Monitor performance and assist with debugging where needed

Data is processed to deliver the App’s core functionality and enhance merchant experience.

Data Storage

We store the following information securely in a Postgres database:

  • Product titles
  • User settings
  • Generated SEO content

We do not store API logs. Some processing is performed in real time without storing additional data.

Sharing of Information

To provide AI-generated content, we share necessary text input with third-party LLM processors via OpenRouter. We do not share data with other external vendors except essential service providers required to operate the App. We do not sell or rent merchant data.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain merchant data for as long as the App remains installed. Upon uninstalling the App, we automatically delete all associated data within 2 days. Residual backups, if any, are removed within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • Encryption at rest for stored data

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App or on the App listing.
